Summary:

Rose Taylor Kim is a fifth-grader at Serendipity Elementary and member of Beaker of Hope Science Academy. She is struggling to adjust to her new life with her inexperienced uncle, Uncle Ted, after the tragic loss of her parents. One rainy day, Rose stumbles upon a mysterious time-traveling umbrella, sending her back in time to when her parents were still alive. Struggling with sudden death of her parent, Rose whole-heartedly believes the time-traveling umbrella came to her for a purpose to possibly saving her parents from their tragic fate. With the help of her best friends, Lucy Adler and Charlie Williams, and new-found friend, Diego Rodriguez. Rose will uncover the origins of this time traveling umbrella and figure how and why it came to her. Was it serendipitous (a lucky coincidence) or just a terrible accident?
